What a Birmingham Airport Transfer Includes
A Birmingham Airport transfer (a pre-booked chauffeur journey to or from BHX) runs door to door in one car, at a fare agreed before you travel. The car is reserved for your booking alone. There's no rank queue, no meter and no surge price when the A45 slows down.
Birmingham Airport sits 8.1 miles south-east of the city centre and handled 13.7 million passengers in 2025 through a single terminal. One terminal means one arrivals hall, so your chauffeur is never waiting at the wrong building.
Every chauffeur holds a council-issued private hire licence and has passed an enhanced DBS check, and Birmingham City Council licenses us as the operator. The fare already covers the terminal set-down charge, parking for the meet and greet, motorway tolls and VAT.
Flights are tracked from take-off, so a late landing moves the pickup rather than the price. Saloons carry three passengers, the V-Class up to eight, and collections run from anywhere in the West Midlands.

Car Parks 1, 2 & 3Cars can't wait at the arrivals kerb, so pickups go through the multi-storey car parks a 1 to 2 minute walk away. The first hour in Car Park 1 costs £10.50, and with us that parking sits inside the fare.
Air-Rail Link
FreeThe free link reaches Birmingham International station in about 2 minutes. It suits a solo traveller with light bags. With cases, children or a pre-dawn flight, the car is simpler.
M42 and A45
Junction 6BHX sits beside junction 6 of the M42, where the A45 runs into the city. NEC show weeks such as Crufts and Autosport International slow both roads, so pickup times follow live traffic, not a map estimate.
Clean Air Zone

How Your BHX Pickup Works
Most transfer problems happen at the airport end. This is what happens from touchdown to the car door, and who carries the cost when a flight runs late.
We track the flight
Give us the flight number and dispatch follows it live. An early landing, a diversion or a three-hour delay moves the pickup automatically, so nobody needs to call from baggage reclaim.
Name board in arrivals
Your chauffeur waits in the ground-floor arrivals hall holding your name, takes the cases and walks you to the car park. We pay the parking before you land.
Free waiting from touchdown
You get 60 minutes after an international landing and 30 after a domestic one, counted from the actual landing time. After that, waiting costs £15 per extra half hour.
Departures planned backwards
For flights out, we work back from check-in using live M42 and A45 traffic, then confirm the pickup the night before. Plan on three hours at the terminal for long-haul and two for short-haul.
